I am hitting the road to do demos. I am starting with the Oculus Rift rig. And Lead Tech’s own virtual reality “try gun” shown below, and no, that is not a photograph of a real gun, it is the virtual reality gun in the simulator . . . scratches and all.
We tested the HTC Vive headset and controller and it is, to coin a phrase, Virtually Awesome. The shooting accuracy of the hand-held is superb. It goes to the model shop 3D printer tomorrow to be turned into a simulated shotgun with dimensions taken off of Pete’s try gun. Stay tuned. Stay virtual.
