I am hitting the road to do demos. I am starting with the Oculus Rift rig. And Lead Tech’s own virtual reality “try gun” shown below, and no, that is not a photograph of a real gun, it is the virtual reality gun in the simulator . . . scratches and all.
We tested the HTC Vive headset and controller and it is, to coin a phrase, Virtually Awesome. The shooting accuracy of the hand-held is superb. It goes to the model shop 3D printer tomorrow to be turned into a simulated shotgun with dimensions taken off of Pete’s try gun. Stay tuned. Stay virtual.
We have had about twenty demos so far and we are going to start video’ing them to show the kinds of amazed and amazing reactions we are getting.
